Activating Sets at Startup

FontAgent can activate fonts automatically as it starts in two different ways:

  • By activating font sets that you have designated as Startup Sets
  • By reactivating fonts that were active when FontAgent last stopped running

Designating a Startup Set

You can configure which sets activate automatically as FontAgent starts up. When you designate a set to operate in this manner, it is called a Startup Set.

To designate a set as a startup set, follow these steps:

  1. Select the set.
  2. Click the Set command in the FontAgent menu.
  3. Select the Startup On command from the Set menu ribbon.

To stop a set from activating automatically at startup, select the Startup Off command in the Set menu ribbon.

You can create as many startup sets as you need, but be selective about how many fonts you activate at startup. Activating too many consumes system resources and makes Font menus in your Windows applications too long and complex to navigate.

Leaving Fonts Active When Exiting

You can use the FontAgent Options panel to tell FontAgent to leave fonts active when FontAgent exits.
