Working with Smart Sets
FontAgent® lets you create Smart Sets that are dynamic collections of fonts that match one or more rules that you specify.
If you create a Smart Set and later add fonts to FontAgent that match the set’s rules, FontAgent adds those fonts to the set automatically.
Creating a Smart Set
To create a Smart Set, follow these steps:
- Right-click Smart Sets in the Sets Sidebar and select New Smart Set.
- FontAgent displays the Smart Set dialog. Enter a name for the new Smart Set.
- Enter your first rule by using the pull-down menus to select an attribute, operator and value.
- Click the + button to add additional rules.
- Click the x button that appears to the left of an existing rule to delete it.
- If you have more than one rule, select whether you want the fonts in the set to match any or all of your rules.
- Click Save and FontAgent will display your new Smart Set in the Sets Sidebar.
You can search any combination of the following fields in your Smart Search:
- Font name
- Foundry name
- Font format type
- Rating (1 to 5 stars)
- Copyright
- Trademark
- Description (specified by font creator)
- Comments and keywords (specified by you)
- Duplicate Fonts
